Who will advance to the Coppa Italia final

Inter Milan host Juventus in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals on Wednesday. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, both teams still have a good chance of reaching the final. Inter will of course build on the home advantage. For Juventus it could already be the 4th defeat in a row in Italy after losing all of the last 3 league games.

For many it is already an early final which Inter Milan and Juventus Turin are contesting. The two top teams actually meet for the second leg of the semifinals. After a 1-1 in the first leg, it is now decided who will move into the final. There are no clear favorites in such a top game, but Inter Milan is slightly favored due to home advantage. 

Juve is also in a small crisis, because in Serie A the club has suffered 3 defeats in a row. Internationally, however, things are going a lot better for both teams. Inter are in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Juve are in the semi-finals of the Europa League. Both teams still have the chance of a second title this season.

The biggest title chance for Inter this season

Although the team surprisingly made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League, we would describe the hosts' season as disappointing. In the league they started the season as a championship candidate and are now only in 6th place. The danger of missing out on the Champions League places is real, so next season they might settle for the Europa League. In the Champions League they are certainly showing their strongest performances this year, but they were also a bit lucky with Benfica in the quarter-finals. Winning the title would be quite a surprise, even if we think they are capable of reaching the final, after all there is a derby against AC Milan in the semifinals.Probably the best chances for the title are in the Coppa Italia. Similar to their opponents, Juventus has good and bad phases this season. They last managed to do this in a 2-0 away win in the Europa League against SC Freiburg.

Like their opponents, Juventus made a few changes last weekend. The often seeded offensive players Dusan Vlahovic, Angel Di Maria and Federico Chiesa were all on the bench.
