Tennis tips and top bets for the new tennis season

Less than three weeks until the start of the new season, and our tennis experts are already analyzing the markets for the 2023 Australian women's Grand Slam, which will open the 2023 tennis season. While there isn't much time to enjoy the season break, since tennis's biggest stars will be back on the courts in less than three weeks, we can start our plans for this new and exciting 2023 season.

Let’s make a start with the women's tournament. With the first Grand Slam event beginning in a little over a month, the betting markets are already open. So, whoever has a good feeling, this is the best time to place their bets, especially if you can foresee a huge surprise on the horizon!

Are you new to our Betandyou blog? Well, how does a free bet after signing up sound?

It’s a fact, that in women's tennis no player has won multiple Grand Slam titles in the same season, since 2016, until Iga Swiatek this year. The Polish star won the French Open as well as the US Open and is the favorite for the 2023 Australian Open as well.

The odds for Swiatek to win the Australian Open are 4.5, which seem pretty fair! After all, she won the US Open, her first hardcourt Grand Slam title, which shows that she can do it in Melbourne as well.

Note, that in every sport, it's tough to predict how players will begin a new season. This means that the betting operators have the same difficulty to predict the outcome, which gives players a chance to look for a surprise. Or a player, like the US Open winner of 2021 Emma Raducanu which you will find at odds 13 for her to repeat her success.

Also you can always bet on a rising star, like Amanda Anisimova. The US player entered last season the Top-25 with some impressive wins against higher ranked opponents. In the Australian Open of 2022 Anisimova reached the round of 16 and lost against the eventual champion Ashleigh Barty, while before the tournament she cruised and won the Melbourne Summer Set, the traditional warm-up tournament before the Australian Open. So, Anisimova at odds of 29 seems more than interesting.

Here are our tips on the winner of 2023 women’s Australian Open:
