Derby for the FA Cup
The last game of the season takes place in England on Saturday. This is the final of the FA Cup, the oldest cup competition in the world. This year the two Manchester clubs meet here. With Manchester City there is a clear favorite, after all, they also won the championship title and are in the Champions League final. Manchester United, on the other hand, won the EFL Cup this year and still reached third place in the Premier League. The Red Devils are therefore not to be underestimated, especially in one game. Especially since they were able to win the last duel against Manchester City.

City for the tremble
The Skyblues are once again playing an outstanding season under Pep Guardiola. They won their 4th championship title in the past 5 years and are also in the final of the UEFA Champions League. This could be won for the first time under the Spanish coach. Together with the title in the FA Cup, they would then have won the treble of Championship, Champions League and FA Cup. For City it's all about concentrating on this game and not already thinking about the Champions League. They haven't done that well in the last two rounds, conceding just one point and scoring just one goal against Brighton and Brentford. The strong winning streak is thus also torn.
Before losing to Brentford, they went unbeaten for 25 competitive games in a row. The last defeat before that was on February 5th, 2023 away against Tottenham Hotspur. In the Premier League, they even managed to win 12 in a row during this period and were of course the team with the best form.
In the past two games, Pep Guardiola gave some youngsters a chance and left some top performers on the bench to protect them. In the final against Manchester United, Erling Haaland and Co. will be back in the game. With his 36 goals he already set some records in his first Premier League season. Kevin de Bruyne was once again the league's leading assist provider with 18 assists. Ilkay Gündogan and Bernardo Silva will also return to the team.
Manchester United is currently in top form
The Red Devils have already won a title this season, beating Newcastle United in the final in the EFL Cup. In the Premier League, they didn't have anything to do with the championship fight, but the 3rd place and the associated qualification for the Champions League can definitely be described as a success. Before the FA Cup final, the team also presented itself in top form. They have all won their last 4 league games, including a 4-1 win over Chelsea. They have also only conceded two goals in these last 4 games.
It will be exciting to see how Manchester United do at Wembley Stadium, because away from home this season it has not always been easy.In addition to 8 wins, they also suffered 8 defeats in 19 away games. At home, on the other hand, they only lost once in 19 games. In the Europa League they were also eliminated mainly because of the 3-0 win in Seville.
After Rashford had been struggling with minor injuries in recent weeks, the team's top scorer should be back in top form in time for the final. The Englishman scored 17 times in the Premier League this year. Another important factor will be new signing Casemiro. The Brazilian is not only convincing on the defensive, but has already scored the all-important 1-0 for his team for the sixth time this year. Christian Eriksen is also back after a long injury break.
Manchester City - Manchester United: What to expect?
Manchester City is the clear favorite among bookmakers. However, ManU has been in top form in recent weeks and can regularly keep up in direct duels. Based on the odds, we would therefore opt for a double chance X/2 bet. Both teams will probably feel each other out slowly at the beginning, we don't expect too many goals.
